Cuddle Cot in Memory of Harry James Quinn

Our precious Harry James Quinn born 9/03/2019. Our solider. Our greatest blessing. A miracle gifted to us that we never thought would end in such trauma. Harry was diagnosed at 19 weeks with Potters Syndrome and his condition was always fatal. He was never going to survive once born. I gave birth to our angel at 22 weeks. We were told he would not survive labour and would pass during. We spent 1 amazing hour with Harry alive in our arms seeing his facial expressions, feeling his heart beating and feeling him move. If it wasn’t for the hospital having a cuddle cot we wouldn’t have been given the opportunity to spend 2 amazing days with our son after he was born. The photos, the memories I have stroking his soft skin, kissing his sweet cheeks and holding his little hands I will cherish for life. Never have I felt a love that I feel for him. I miss him every second of the day and my heart is broken.

This fundraiser is not just for myself and Nick, it is for the family and friends hurting inside for us. The ones that feel helpless for us and don’t know what to do or say. One day our lives will return to a semblance of normality. We want to share our beautiful boy with each and everyone of you. He deserves to be recognised for the precious gift that he was.

Bears of hope is a Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support group. They support family’s like ours that are dealing with the hardship of losing a child. On behalf of Harry we have decide to start a go fund me, to raise money for Bears of Hope. We want to be able to provide some family’s with the comfort we had in the most unimaginable situations. The cost of a cuddle cot is $6000 per unit. There are thousands of family’s that don’t have the opportunity to spend this much needed time with there babies. Please help us raise money for this truly important cause. Thank you for reading our story, we appreciate it and any contribution would mean the world to us. Bears of Hope seek to provide crucial information and embrace families during their difficult time of loss, and beyond. There are two key elements to our program that guide families through their choices when saying Hello and Goodbye to their much loved baby.
