Help Families Experiencing a Stillbirth

We lost our son Brooks during labor on May 18, 2020.  In honor of Brooks’ first birthday, we would like to purchase a CuddleCot for families that experience stillbirth at Regions hospital, where Brooks was born. An average of 24 families a year experience a stillbirth at Regions. The CuddleCot will provide a chilled bassinet to preserve the baby’s body while families spend time together in the hospital. We wish to create a legacy for Brooks by providing families as much time as possible with their baby after a tragedy.

We kindly ask for your help to reach our goal of raising $3000 so that we can donate this gift in honor of our sweet son, Brooks. If you previously donated to the GoFundMe some of those funds are also being used for stillbirth research, to support families, develop training programs for nursing staff, funding care packages for families before they leave the hospital, providing funding for bereavement doulas, and sponsoring families to attend a weekend away at a bereaved parents retreat in WI.
