Shercock Camogie Club is thrilled to announce an exciting project to enhance our community's sports facilities! We are commencing construction of a Multi-Use Games Area complete with Target Wall for skill practice, High-quality fencing and Netting for safety, Modern lighting for year-round use, and an Astro Turf surface to ensure an all-weather playing field.
This incredible facility will be centrally located in the St. Patrick's Hall & School Car Park area, making it easily accessible for everyone in the Shercock community. It will provide a safe, inclusive, and high-quality space for camogie players, local schools, other sports clubs, and families.
Why We Need Your Support
- The total cost of the project is estimated at €110,000. We’ve been approved for LEADER funding of €75,000, which is a huge step forward, but to make this dream a reality, we need to raise the remaining €35,000 as our matching fund.
This Multi Use Games Area will be a game-changer for Shercock, offering:
- Safe training facilities for camogie and other sports,
- Opportunities for physical activity and skill development,
- A hub for community connection and well-being,
- A facility that will benefit generations to come.
