Ctrl-Z 4096 is Champaign County's only FIRST Robotics Competition team. We are part of this community, with 39 students from 9 different area middle and high schools, working hard to spread STEM education opportunities. Of course, we also build awesome robots!

This month we competed in Peoria and Cedar Falls, winning two of the highest awards - A regional playoffs winner and recipient of the FIRST Impact Award. This honors the team that's transforming our culture in ways that will inspire greater levels of respect and awareness of science and technology, and encourage today’s youth to become science and technology leaders. Both awards qualified our team to attend the international FIRST Championship in Houston in April.

Ctrl-Z is fortunate to be sponsored by Caterpillar, but we need additional fundraising to cover annual team expenses. This is especially true for our trip to Houston.
