For years, I’ve had it on my heart to go on an international mission trip, and this October 6–16, I finally have the opportunity to do so with Action Church. I’ll be traveling to Uganda, where we’ll be partnering with two incredible organizations making a real difference in people’s lives.

The first is Mercy Childcare Ministry, a Christian-founded NGO that has been serving Uganda since 2002. They provide a transitional rehabilitation home for children, operate schools, a medical center, churches, and community programs to bring hope and resources to families in need. We’ll also be coming alongside She Is More Than, a nonprofit dedicated to helping young survivors of sex trafficking. Through education, healing, and empowerment, they work to restore dignity and give women the tools to reclaim their lives and futures. (You can read more at sheismorethan.org)

I can’t express how much this means to me. Being chosen to be part of this trip feels like such a gift, and I’m truly excited to serve, learn, and pour into others while also growing through this experience myself. To make this possible, I need to raise funds to cover all trip costs, including travel, lodging, meals, and supplies.
