Help Us Volunteer In Costa Rica

Hi! Our names are Story and Violet, we're raising money to fund our volunteer trip to Costa Rica. This Summer, we'll be traveling to a small pineapple farm in the town of Santa Teresa with a company called Global Leadership Adventures(GLA). While traveling with GLA, we'll be working to rebuild schools and community centers, as well as learning about the local culture and the challenges their community faces. During our time volunteering, we may work on projects such as, building gardens and green houses, and refurbishing classrooms so that students have a place that they can comfortably and confidently learn. We'll also get to spend time teaching English to local children and learning about their culture.

We truly believe this will be a life changing experience for the both of us. We've dreamed of traveling together since we were twelve years old, and we couldn't be more excited to finally be making it happen. Not only will GLA give us incredible adventure and volunteer opportunities, but it will also give us the chance to gain leadership experience and learn how to be confidently independent as we head into College.
