Our names are Gianna Abbatello and Krystina Johnson. We are creating this GoFundMe for our best friend Lily Cummings.

Life can change in an instant. Just a short time ago, Lily was planning a future with her fiancé and soulmate — Bella Rose Butzgy — full of love, light, laughter, happiness and hope. But after an unexpected tragedy took Bella’s life, everything came crashing down.

On September 5, 2025 there was a series of tragic car accidents on I-95 in Westbrook, where the devastating loss of Bella occurred. 

In the months since the accident, Lily has been struggling to hold things together while navigating overwhelming grief and the painful realities that followed — losing the home her and Bella shared, facing unexpected legal and financial troubles, and being unable to return to work due to the emotional toll.

Despite the heartbreak and life altering event, Lily is doing her best to find a path forward. She hopes to begin grief counseling to start healing, regain stability, and rebuild her life one step at a time. But right now, she needs help.
