Help Crystal & Chuck Build The Pillow Patch

Michelle Lafae here. Putting out a call to help Crystal and Chuck continue their off grid homestead dreams.

I first met these sweethearts while visiting Peaches at their caravan a couple of years ago. They were about a year into nomad life at that point and set up their camp "The Pillow Patch" as a place for folx to land, meet other travelers and feel supported when needing friends, supplies or a meal from Crystal's bad ass kitchen.

While dreaming of owning land to create from, they went through a fire that took all they owned, to working on a couple of different farms that led them to finding the 2 acres they now own! As a couple for 13 years, they are dedicated to growing The Pillow Patch to be a safe haven for nomads and travelers alike. The goal is to grow a food forest and in time be an end of life animal sanctuary. We are actively growing a food bank and clothing closet and stockpiling supplies for nomad buildouts. Their truck is waiting to be insured before a court order follows through with outrageous ticket prices.

Aside from The Pillow Patch they have volunteered at soup kitchens and food banks along their travels and now need us. Their truck is the only way to get around rural Eastern Arizona, for work, groceries, dog and building supplies. Let's help get them a year of insurance, pay court fees and get back on the road!
