I get on my home page and this is the 1st picture I get from 2012!! this is where this nightmare started!!!! they couldn't provide help, so they provided money... cause the help they provided, was useless.... I even had to pull Nicky out of the hospital cause he got a penis infection....from being dirty.... I had called you Nicky up to that day, then you became my baby again....seeing you in a sad situation, that was behind your control and you couldn't understand why your arm wasn't doing what it use to do.... ah my baby how Mommy worked hard to keep you happy...without pain I still cry just thinking about it.... the social services, the school couldn't even take responsibilities then, even after the MLA, the ombudsman...all the same people that this lawyer tells me to call to get his diapers back and refunded.... this is the most stupid runaround job I've ever had to do.... and, for now, I am too tired...I will let my post speak for themselves in hope of having somebody....with a good heart, (hopefully a free lawyer) help us out....cause....this is what started all of this shit!!!" -Colette (Nicky's Mom).
My name is Andre Theriault. I am Colette Theriault's son living in Toronto. I have a 31 year old severely disabled brother named Dominic but we call him Nicky since birth.
Mom used to have funds to help support Nicky in his home located in St Martins New Brunswick Canada. Unfortunately the funds have been cut without warning or without proper notice. We had people saying that she is not in a position to take care of Nicky and we had people saying that she is not using the funds correctly. The truth is, everything we do is for Nicky. Nicky has to wear diapers, Nicky cannot talk, he cannot walk properly, we need an electric motor wheelchair, we need to keep our car as he enjoy traveling, we need to maintain the house in order to keep it safe for Nicky. We need to survive as this mess gets cleaned up. If Nicky goes into a home for special needs, all they will do is drug him since nobody knows (besides us) what's best for him. If they are to punish my Mom for a lack of understanding then they are also punishing my brother Nicky...Nicky is the one that needs care and attention. He needs to stay in the only home he knows for most his life.

We also have a Facebook page for donation but limits how we can spread the support (currently out of date since we had this open for a while).
So I'm creating a second page like this, so that hopefully people see the good we do for Nicky.
Mom fought all her life against people that stand in her way. She fought cancer, poverty, she gave everything for us...I know that I am powerless to help as this is a bigger scope but the only thing I can do is be there for her until all of this is resolved. It breaks my heart to see my Mom sad like this. It also breaks my heart that Nicky is the one actually suffering due to the lack of funds. Staying with Nicky is a full time job and we need support. If social services, the government won't give it us...then we will keep fighting until the end. This will also bring awareness to other families that suffer from the same treatment that the province brings to single parents living with severely disabled children.
