It is with great sadness and disbelief that today we have to announce the sudden and very unexpected passing of Cruz Martinez. Miss Cruz leaves behind her two beautiful children, Anthony and Nevaeh. Miss Cruz was an amazing and loving mom. Her children were her lifeline.
How does one explain to a child that today your mommy went to heaven without breaking their little hearts? It is impossible to find the right words or comforts to help any little one understand.
Miss Cruz was a loving, caring and very special person to so many. She was our friend, our family and to some a second mom. She will be greatly missed by so many.
All of the pain and emotional stress brought by this loss also comes with many financial burdens. This fundraiser was created in hopes to provide some kinda've funds for both of Cruz's children. They are so little and have still so much life to live. This tragedy has left them both without a parent as Cruz was both mom and dad to Anthony and Nevaeh. The money being raised will be for their living expenses and anything they may need. The funds is to make sure Cruz's family is able to give both Anthony and Nevaeh the life they deserve after enduring such tragedy of losing their mom and only parent they have ever known.
As a mom and Cruz's extended family, I know she fought hard to stay and be here for children. I am beyond broken and saddened by this news. I am hoping that Cruz is now in peace and pain free and with her mom and dad that she loved and missed dearly. Cruz wanted the best for her babies, she wanted them to grow up to be healthy and live the best life possible. She would want them to go to college and become whomever they wanted to become. She would want to know that we celebrated her life and that we helped provide for her children so that they could live full and happy lives. I am asking for any donation that you can donate, so that we can help provide for Anthony and Nevaeh and help offset costs related to childcare, medical expenses and future education.
