Inspired by the legacy of Madam C.J. Walker and the compassion in action of Shirley Raines, I started this project to bring care, confidence, and respect directly to the streets. “Crowned By Greatness” isn’t about being above anyone—it’s about helping people remember their own greatness.
While being homeless myself, the hardest thing for me was figuring out how to simply wash up and get dressed each day. There isn’t enough shower aid for everyone, and many people in areas that outreach groups are too scared to go still need help. My goal is to provide private pop-up showers, hygiene kits, hair care, basic grooming, confidence restoration, and real human connection—because no matter your situation, you are still worthy, still seen, and still crowned.
With your support, I hope to purchase a cargo van and fill it with essentials: barber and salon items (clippers, scissors, shampoo, etc.), hygiene products (soap, wipes, deodorant, toothbrushes), new or gently used clothing (especially for men), shoes, camp shower tents, shower bags, utility carts, and tables. This will allow me to reach people where they are and offer the dignity and care everyone deserves. We are a community-led project, not a 501c3, and we operate as private individuals. We provide services voluntarily and do our best as neighbors, not professionals. Your support means helping people remember their worth and restoring confidence to those who need it most. "They didn’t lose their worth… The world just stopped seeing it."
