Following residents’ wanting to protest against the Home Office’s decision to house 600 male asylum seekers at the Crowborough Army Training Camp, ordinary, hard working residents stepped forward to pay for all the things needed to make the protest safe. Individual residents hired sound systems, purchased mega phones, hi vis jackets, designed and printed flyers, posters etc. all this has been done by individual residents. Our protests have not been organised by outside people. It has been made possible by individual residents living in Crowborough doing something to make it happen. We want to protect our town from the Government’s unfair, unsafe decision through unity and coming together every week until this decision is reversed. The Cost of this is not small and is becoming difficult to maintain. Therefore please donate to help cover the costs that these individuals are generously giving and to ensure we can continue to protest safely in accordance with the law and our right to protest.
We will publish a record of how your donations are spent so you can see how your contribution has supported this campaign. Every little donation really will help keep this unified approach going.
