You never know what you're gonna get when you adopt a kitten from the streets. Every part of loving & caring for a chronically ill cat is worth it, and I would choose Samira over & over again knowing all her health conditions that I know now!! This lil kitty gives back tenfold in personality & affection.

However, vet bills & medication costs are increasingly difficult to cover in this economy. My lil squeaky beeb has been struggling with allergies that keep her scratching her skin open (hence the flower "cone"), & those meds have been covered this month by a dear friend, thankfully! But currently, she needs a dental procedure done ASAP. Her gums are swollen, red, & inflamed, her breath smells rotten, her sad yowling utterly breaks my heart, & she's always pawing & rubbing at her face near her molars in pain & discomfort. I can't stand to see my baby Samira suffering, & I worry that leaving it too much longer without treatment will result in worse consequences & higher bills! I am talking to several low-cost & non-profit vets around my city, which definitely helps! But there are no places that can do it for free.

With the LA Pet Clinic, I am looking at an estimate of a little over $600 for Samira's exams, x-rays, anesthesia, the procedure itself, & follow-up medication. Which, all things considered, is a good price! I don't have that money to spare though. If you can contribute anything, even $1, I will be so, so grateful. And even though Samira might not understand the concept of money, her relief will be real. <3
