Hi there!

I'm Cristian Rojas, a senior at Loyola High School, and I am working on my Eagle Scout project for Boy Scout Troop 507 in La Canada Flintridge.

My Eagle Scout project is to help improve the environment at a local school, Crestview Preparatory School in La Canada Flintridge. I attended Crestview from Kindergarten to the 3rd Grade, where I then attended Mayfield Junior School, and now Loyola High School.

My Eagle Scout project will enhance the campus for both students and faculty. The project will be made up of 3 phases. The first phase is to refurbish 3 existing weathered and damaged benches by sanding, then to primer and paint them. Second phase will be to assemble 2 new additional benches, primer and paint those also. Lastly, I will then remove plants and weeds within an existing flower planter located on campus. I will be planting new plants that were indigenous to the La Canada Tongva Tribes, the 1st native people who lived in the area.

I am hoping to raise money to purchase all the materials, equipment and supplies necessary for my Eagle Scout Project, approximately $2,250. Any support and contributions are greatly appreciated. Any remaining funds will then be contributed to the beneficiary, Crestview Preparatory School.
