As COVID-19 impacts our entire community, our local hospital has worked around the clock to provide crisis healthcare, implementing precautionary changes while publishing critical information to assist in our safety.  While they are directly in contact with possible positive patients, most of us have taken every measure to distance ourselves from anyone or anything that would put us in harm’s way.  They are our local heroes; some are a family member, a neighbor, a friend, they are someone to each of us.  Many of us have also been directly impacted by this pandemic; our children are now home schooled, Seniors are missing out on their big year of adventures, college campuses have closed, sending our older children home, thousands are being tested right here in our backyard.  The question so many of us have asked, what can we do?  We are providing an answer to that question that can be done in the comfort and safety of our homes while raising awareness and funding to give back to our community in a special way.

Marvair is sliding into action to show our appreciation, literally.  We have set up a hashtag via TikTok, Instagram and Facebook to raise money for our local front-line workers.  Have you heard of “Toosie Slide” by Drake?  It’s a catchy beat that makes everyone want to “dance like Michael Jackson”.  Our employees are challenged to step up and show out, showcasing your best dance moves to Toosie Slide and using the hashtag #MarvairisCrispStrong when you post your video.  The top video (based on likes) posted on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok will receive $100, one prize for each social media platform!  Marvair will be calling out Helena Industries, Norbord and Crisp County Sheriff’s Department in our first ever dance off. 

We are not done just yet……. we will also match a percentage of all donations to Crisp Regional Hospital from the community.  All posts will be reviewed and counted by our Marvair Team, so practice, record and post. Be creative and have fun!  Grab your family, your department (during break of course) and let’s show the world how we rally together in Crisp County Georgia!! We are asking for the aid of our community to join in our efforts to raise money for Crisp Regional, so spread the word!
