Hello,

We are two high school girls (Parisha & Mansirat), we are extremely passionate about social justice, and we are determined to make a difference in our community here in East Hastings by raising funds for feminine hygiene products for homeless women. We recognized that access to essential products like pads, tampons, and menstrual cups can become a monthly obstacle for several women experiencing homelessness they can resort to using newspapers and other scraps. This could lead to severe infections and can be an uncomfortable situation for many women in our community, we want to help fill that gap since periods are already difficult enough. Our goal is to raise awareness about this often-overlooked issue and ensure that homeless women can maintain their gynecological health. We plan on hosting fundraising events, workshops, donation drives, and online campaigns. We want to reassure women and remind them that we are commited to your care, regardless of your circumstances. Through our efforts, we hope to inspire others to take action and contribute to the cause.
