Crichton McCormick Park Disc Golf

Hi, we are Louis Kordish, Thomas Heinrich, Joshua McCool, Jacob Vasilko, and William Heinrich- local youth who love playing disc golf! However, there is no course in our local town. That is why we asked the park board, at Crichton McCormick park, if we could work to have a disc golf course put into the park.

Before we can break ground in the Spring, we need to raise the necessary funds. We are asking for your help so that we can reach our goal. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. However, a donation of $700 or more will sponsor the completion of one hole, and a “sponsor plaque” will be displayed.

All funds will go directly to the park for the construction of the course. A course which we think will benefit the whole community by bringing fun & variety to the park!

Disc Golf is played like traditional golf, but with disc golf discs instead of balls and clubs. One throw (stroke) is counted each time the disc is thrown and when a penalty is incurred. The goal is to play each basket in the fewest strokes possible.

The player with the lowest total strokes for the entire course wins.
