Creighton PT Trip to the Dominican Republic

Donation protected
As a Creighton University School of Physical Therapy student, I am excited about the various opportunities afforded to me to enhance my classroom studies with hands-on rotations. The University’s Jesuit mission inspires me to become a better physical therapist with a clear commitment to serving those who are the most vulnerable. A Creighton activity central to this task is the Institute for Latin American Concern (ILAC), and I have been accepted to participate in ILAC’s Physical Therapy Program in the Dominican Republic.

For nearly 50 years, the Institute for Latin American Concern (ILAC) has provided programming that emphasizes the importance of global engagement and cross-cultural understanding in educating well-rounded individuals through a unique partnership with the Centro de Educacion para la Salud Integral (CESI). The ILAC/CESI Center in the Dominican Republic is an international, Catholic, Ignatian-inspired, collaborative health care and educational organization.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience a culture distinguished for its generosity of spirit and to serve through an exchange of talents and gifts. I ask that you help me fund this mission trip, so I may use the education I have been so fortunate to receive and learn from a culture that is new to me. I am blessed by Creighton’s faith in me to contribute to this program and to engage in this experience with a full and open heart. Please also keep my fellow travelers and me in your prayers.
