We need your help to open a love-filled, vibrant community hub and arts café in Littlehampton!
As a not-for-profit, Community Interest Company we are taking over the former Tamarisk Centre and need to raise funds to renovate the building. We want to create a beautiful, accessible, space where everyone will feel welcomed and at home.
Creative Heart will be a safe and inclusive space that tackles loneliness, inspires creativity and improves emotional, mental and physical well-being.
We love Littlehampton and want to provide a space where our community can come together, learn new skills, be inspired and make new friends.
Work starts on the roof and exterior renovations in the week beginning July 8th and we hope to raise the funds to be able to start on the interior no later than the end of July. Sadly, there has been a lot of water damage and while the landlord is working hard on building repairs, we will need to put a lot of effort in to making the interior special again.
Your donations will mean that we can put in new safety flooring, decorate, provide sensory equipment, create a café and pay our initial rental costs to get up and running. We are going to complete the project in phases and for phase one we need £20,000.
We would love our whole community to feel involved from the very beginning. We are going to create a work of art celebrating everyone who is part of our story so we are going to include the names of all of our donors within it!
The total amount we need to raise for our start up costs and first year is approximately £54,000 so we are also appealing to local businesses, grant giving trusts and organisations. If you are a business or organisation and able to support us further or would like to discuss sponsorship/advertising with us we would love to hear from you. Please email us on email@example.com
We will be immensely grateful for any donation, no matter how big or small, and will use it to show our love for Littlehampton and all of the wonderful people who live here.
Here are some images so you can see the damage inside and why we need your help to fix it.
