The AGU Foundation

The AGU Foundation is a non profit initiative born from my belief that creativity and technology are the most powerful tools we can give to the next generation.

Being born into a Nigerian family and raised in London, I’ve always lived between two worlds - one of huge opportunity, and one where talent too often goes unsupported. I’ve seen first hand how many young people in Nigeria and across Africa have the raw drive to create, innovate, and build, but lack the access to even the most basic tools. The AGU Foundation exists to bridge that gap.

Our Mission

Our mission at The AGU Foundation is simple:

To equip young people in Nigeria with the skills, tools, and confidence to build their future - whether as creators, technologists, or entrepreneurs.

We believe that with the right support, these young people won’t just participate in the global economy, they’ll help redefine it.

Why This Matters

Africa is the youngest continent in the world, with over 60% of its population under 25. Nigeria alone adds more than 5 million people to its population every year. But while the creativity and ambition are limitless, access to education and technology remains out of reach for too many.

Education and creative skills are no longer optional - they’re the currency of life. Without them, potential is wasted. With them, entire communities can be transformed.

Our First Step

For our first year, The AGU Foundation is raising £5,000 to equip 10 young people in Nigeria with the essential tools they need to build:

A laptop

Internet access for 6 months

Headphones + basic accessories

Access to shared training + workshops

This is an investment. An investment into 10 builders, 10 dreamers, 10 future leaders.

The Bigger Picture

This pilot is just the beginning. Each year, we want to expand - from 10 students to 100, from one hub to many, from a pilot project to a movement.

The funds raised will go directly into providing immediate access to tools and training, while also laying the groundwork for bigger initiatives - from creative labs to tech hubs, schools to scholarship programs.

Our Belief

We hold onto the promise of Jeremiah 29:11:

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

This is the heartbeat of The AGU Foundation - to show every young person that their future is bright, their dreams are valid, and their journey is just beginning.
