Rich Rocket is an independently employed ARTreprenuer who's job has been to realize his dreams since 2013. After abruptly being let go from a corporate job, Rich started a media company in 2013 that has served over 500 patrons nationally with his self taught graphic design and photography skills. In 2017 he expanded his story telling into the fashion space by creating Vintage Thrivals, the innovative vintage clothing company that takes sustainably sourced clothing and turns them into 1 of 1 wearable art pieces! With a mission to combat the waste created by fast fashion companies, create a safe space for ALL BODY TYPES, and presentations, and to return the vibrance and ceremony to getting dressed! Through these efforts Rich Rocket has been able to sell over 1,000 pieces of wearable art, as well as create for everyone including some Grammy award winning artist!

With all of this creativity and innovation, there was one thing that Rich Rocket needed. A home. Somewhere to house all of these unique offerings, engage with the community that has been built, as well as hold space for new patrons. More importantly, a space to expand on the vision. To grow the ideas even bigger, and to dream even louder.

A mentor of Rich's saw the potential in his work, and gifted him a building. Knowing that Rich's specialty is creating in the face of adversity, the building was far from ready for daily operations. After reaching out to the community, Rich was able to find the funding to be begin the process of turning the shell into the showroom of his dreams. A very special thank you Brioxy, The Black Arts District, (Baltimore, MD), and Innovation Works, for planting the seed that began this garden!

As we beginning building this legacy we need your help to cross the finish line. We are very close to being able to open new doors, (literally, new doors) offer opportunities, and create a space that will change lives. Here is what your contribution with contribute too:

Rocket Labs will be home to the Vintage Thrivals Showroom & Style House. In the Showroom patrons can shop the latest creations, get fitted for custom or commissioned pieces, donate gently used clothing for discounts, and get styling services from our on site sustainable stylist! Dontations will be used to create more wearable art, teach classes on creating from sustainably sourced clothing, and distributed to other city centers where the resources are needed.

Rocket Labs will also be home to the Rich Rocket Media Studio and Classroom. A community creation space where artist and creators can gather to dream louder, learn, and collaborate with each other.

This space will feature photography, and videography tools that will spark creativity and elevate visuals. Creators can book the space or hire our in house creator team to help bring their visions to life. This space will also host a revolving door of featured creators and intentional events that will help creators explore new ideas, concepts and collaborations.

Our classroom will provide varied offerings from community creators and innovators. Ranging in subject from Introduction to photography, to wearable art creation. Our offerings will be open to all, from local artists, to members of the community!
