This project began many years ago, as part of our ongoing work with women and families. However, since last year, we have focused more intentionally on clear learning objectives, mutual support, and the creation of a safe space among women.

Here in Peru, many women do not always have access to opportunities or different paths to grow, learn, and become economically independent. For this reason, we decided to plan 18 different activities where women can learn new skills, explore their creativity, and discover possible ways to generate income.

But this project is not only about learning techniques or making products. It is also about supporting one another, listening to each other, comforting each other, and encouraging each other to keep moving forward for ourselves and for our families.

For many years, women have often heard words that diminish their value, their capacity, and their potential. Many have faced machismo, judgment, and social limitations that make them doubt themselves. Through this project, we want to create a space where women can hear what they truly deserve to hear: that they are valuable, capable, creative, strong, and worthy of opportunities.

“Women Entrepreneurs: Creating with the Sea, Recycling with Love” is therefore more than a training project. It is a space of empowerment, healing, solidarity, and transformation, where women can learn, create, support one another, and begin to believe again in their own strength.
