Help Me Build Ro & Behold Beauty

Hey yall! My name is Ro, and I’m a licensed nail technician, cosmetology student, entrepreneur, and mama to an amazing 3-year-old.

Over the last year, I’ve been working toward building a career that allows me to support my daughter while creating something of my own. I recently launched my nail business, Ro & Behold Beauty, in Minneapolis, where I’m currently working to build a consistent clientele and grow my business into a sustainable source of income for my family.

I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come — but I’m also in that very real beginning stage of entrepreneurship where the business exists before the consistent income does.

As I transition out of my current internship, my nail business will become my primary source of earned income. I’m continuing to take on gig work when needed while building my books, but I’m asking my community for some support in creating a financial runway over the next several months so I can continue growing my business without falling further behind financially.

My goal of $10,000 would help cover about six months of basic household expenses for my daughter and me while also helping with the costs of establishing and growing my nail business.

Funds raised will help with things like:

-Rent, utilities and other essential household bills

-Transportation and gas

-Diapers, household necessities and everyday expenses

-Nail supplies and equipment

-Booth rent

-Marketing and client acquisition

-Catching up on essential bills that have fallen behind during this transition

-Creating enough stability for me to focus on building a consistent clientele

My goal isn’t simply to make it through the next few months. I’m working toward creating a business and career that can sustainably support my family long-term.
