Creating jobs for vulnerable moms

You can help a group of four young people who have initiated a project called "Mother Entrepreuners Lead" to help mothers of children with disabilities  in a remote Western Mongolian province called Uvs. 

The project is working with 15 families with children with disabilities by providing essential job readiness skills and helping the mothers to start a bakery shop.  Our dream is to empower these mothers to start a business, earn an income for their families and create a network of support for mothers of children with disabilities.  This business idea is theirs, but we need your help to make it happen!


S.Munkhtuya lives with her husband and three children in Ulaangom, Uvs. Her eldest son is 6 years old. There is no development center for children with disabilities in Uvs, so Munkhtuya hasn’t been able to work as she cares for her son 24/7. 

In addition to providing jobs “Mother Entrepreneurs Lead” will establish a daycare center so mothers can work, earn an income, and know their children are well cared for. It’s a community effort driven by the mothers themselves.

These 15 mothers need USD 2,000 for the pupose of purchasing bakery equipment for the bakery business they want to start by early March, 2018.  

100% of your donations will directly benefit "Mother Entrepreneurs Lead" with their business start-up! Any amount you donate, big or small, will be a huge support for those mothers to start their own small business.   You can help "Mother Entrepreneurs Lead" to generate an income for their families in far western Mongolia.
