Hi, my name is Kayla. I’m a 23-year-old mom to the most amazing little girl, Anastasia. She is my whole world, my greatest joy, and the reason I keep going every day.
I never imagined I would be writing something like this. I am currently facing a very critical illness, and my doctors have shared that my time may be limited—possibly a year or less. While this reality is incredibly hard to accept, my heart is focused on one thing above all else: my daughter. More than anything, I want to spend the time I have left creating beautiful, meaningful memories with Anastasia—moments filled with love, adventure, and joy. Even if she is too young to remember everything, she will have the photos, the stories, and the proof that she was loved deeply and fiercely every single day.
Our Dream
One of my biggest dreams is to take my daughter on a journey to see all 48 continental U.S. state signs. I would love to spend about a week in each state, exploring, taking photos, and truly living in the moment together. To make this possible, I hope to purchase a reliable RV, which would allow us to travel safely and comfortably without the heavy cost of hotels. It would give us a cozy place to rest, laugh, and call home while we create memories across the country. (This journey is truly about the state signs and the memories—but I’ll admit, I’ve always wanted to go skydiving too )
Why I’m Asking
I’m asking for help because I want to spend the time I have left fully present with my daughter. This support would allow me to step away from working and focus entirely on this journey, without having to choose between earning money and being with Anastasia. I want my remaining time to be filled with love, adventure, and meaningful moments—giving my daughter something beautiful she can carry with her for the rest of her life. This journey isn’t about luxury. It’s about time, presence, and love.
How the Funds Will Help
Funds raised through this campaign will be used with care and intention to support both this journey and my daughter’s future. Specifically, donations may help with:
• Purchasing a safe, reliable RV I have some savings set aside, but support would help me afford a newer, more dependable RV so we can travel comfortably and safely.
• ⛽ Gas and travel expenses Fuel, basic maintenance, and travel-related costs needed to visit all 48 continental state signs.
• ️ Food and daily necessities Groceries, meals on the road, and everyday essentials while traveling.
• ️ Simple activities and experiences Small adventures and age-appropriate activities that allow us to truly experience each state together.
• Unexpected emergencies or medical needs My health can be unpredictable, and funds may help cover emergency expenses or medical care if I need treatment while traveling—giving peace of mind that my daughter will always be safe and cared for.
• Preserving memories Photos, keepsakes, and mementos so Anastasia will always have something tangible to look back on.
• ⚱️ Future funeral expenses To ease the emotional and financial burden on my loved ones when the time comes.
• Stability and support for Anastasia’s future Helping with a few months of rent, keeping the pantry and fridge stocked, and reducing financial stress for those caring for her once I am gone.
