Hi! I'm Nicolas.
I'm building a theater. Not a play. A theater, five stages, from the ground up, and I'm starting with $2,000 and a stack of floor plans I drew myself. So, you know. Basically already done.
Here's the real version. I grew up bisexual in a town where I got very good at being a smaller, quieter version of myself. Then I found a stage, and everything cracked open, suddenly I could be anyone, and nobody blinked. I was accepted. Better than accepted: I was happy. I want to hand that exact feeling to someone else. The moment a kid sees themselves represented up there, or climbs up and becomes the thing themselves, that's the whole dream.
So that's what I'm building: five stages, genuinely affordable training for kids, and world-class theater for the people it's usually left out. I'm a musical theatre senior and a director, and I'm going to spend the next decade making this real, documenting every dollar, every win, and every faceplant along the way.
This is the Building Fund. Every dollar here goes straight toward making the theater real, and it sits in a dedicated account separate from my own. This money builds a theater, nothing else. Whether you can throw in a few dollars or just follow along and cheer, you're part of it from day one.
A note on the honest stuff: the theater isn't a registered nonprofit yet; that's a real step coming later. So right now, contributions here are not tax-deductible; they're support for me as I get this off the ground. When the nonprofit is official, I'll shout it from the rooftops.
Thank you for being early. Let's build a marquee.
