Create Magic: Donate to Fairy Wonderland Park

Ava Christianson was a radiant 9-year-old who, after a courageous five-year battle with leukemia, passed away in October 2017. Known for her love of fairy gardens, the color teal, monarch butterflies, and her generous spirit, Ava had a profound impact on those around her. She cherished her role as a big sister to Audrey and found joy in planning parties and sharing her belongings with children in need. She had just built a fairy garden in her backyard a few weeks before she passed away.
Fairy Wonderland Park was also inspired by Ellery Ennenga who passed away at the age of 2 from a drowning accident. She loved her siblings, yellow butterflies that she called "bubberflies" and her family nickname was Weebee. Fairy Wonderland park is a life sized fairy garden with mushrooms, butterflies, flowers, bugs and Weebees place. Ellery had wanted a fairy garden and the family had planned to add in their backyard just prior to Ellery passing away.

In honor of Ava & Ellery’s memory, Healing Play, Inc. is trying to complete Fairy Wonderland Park in Prescott, Wisconsin. This life-sized, inclusive fairy garden is designed for children of all ages and abilities to explore and enjoy. The park features whimsical elements that you would find in a fairy garden, like oversized mushrooms, fairy houses, and butterfly sculptures, reflecting the unique personalities of the children it commemorates.

We're thrilled to announce our next exciting addition to Fairy Wonderland Park. First, there is a ZipKrooz® Double Zip Track with a two-way zip line that kids of all abilities can enjoy side-by-side, promoting inclusive play and endless fun. We will have a merry-go-round that is flush with the rubber surfacing so that kids can "wheel" or walk onto it, a musical instrument area, log seating, and balance beam, a swing with 2 seating options and a fairy wishing well.

To ensure safety and accessibility for all, we'll be installing poured-in-place (PIP) rubber surfacing beneath all of phase 3, ensuring that every child can play safely.

Why Your Support Matters

By contributing to this project, you're helping us create a magical space where children can laugh, play, and make cherished memories. We need $79,000 to finish this park and to add phase 3 to Fairy Wonderland Park. We need $35,000 to add the equipment listed above. However, if we get $79,000 we can add a Fairy Wonderland sign, add audio and solar lights to the wishing well, add more items to the musical instrument area and add a tree trunk balance beam. Fundraising to $79,000 would also allow us to install phase 3 in the Summer of 2026 vs 2027.

Thank you for being part of the Fairy Wonderland story and helping us to spread love, joy, and play. Ava and Ellery would love this park and we know that you are your family will love it too.

Your donation can live forever at our park. Any amount of donation is appreciated but by donating at the Sponsorship levels your name will be permanently displayed on the park’s Sponsorship Sign. You will be showing your support for the community and creating a lasting legacy.
