Why Project Alianza?

Growing up, my parents instilled in me the value and importance of education.

I didn’t understand when I was younger, but now having experienced how education has changed my life, I realize the impact it has. In college, I went through a massive transformation because I had access to quality education. Through opportunities and hard work, I landed a job right after graduation. My job has now set the foundation for me to build the life that I want and enabled me to pursue my passion for technology.

I truly believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to have the future they want, regardless of their background. That’s why I am fundraising for Project Alianza. Their work to empower the next generation and break cycles of poverty resonates deeply with me.

Having had the privilege of traveling to different parts of the world, I’ve witnessed firsthand the inequalities that exist, especially among women and minorities. Children in rural communities have limited access to education. They often have to travel a long way to get to school or a library. Schools often don’t have sufficient teachers, books, or supplies.

By running this relay for Alianza, I’m taking a stand to support equal education and a brighter future for underserved communities. Together, we can make a difference and provide a pathway for success for children.
