Emergency Funds Needed to Save Wildlife

Donation protected
Our donated work vehicle is in need of emergency maintenance given issues with the engine!!! We are looking for financial donations to get us back on the road again by July 15, 2024!

Without financial support, this once again puts the Crocodile Research Coalition (CRC) in limited response to wildlife rescues, as well as conducting educational outreach and research. Given it is summer, we have been asked to participate in various educational outreach opportunities at camps and events throughout the country, but we will not be able to attend without fixing our engine.

Please help CRC continue our mission of coexistence with wildlife, in addition to building pride and stewardship amongst communities of our natural local resources! Please consider even donating $1 to help us get back on the road again, as we need to reach a goal of $5000US by July 15!!!

More about the CRC:
Traveling throughout Belize to conduct scientific research of crocodiles in swamps, rivers, lagoons, and yes, even caves, the Crocodile Research Coalition (CRC) is also a dedicated wildlife rescue non-profit, assisting in the rescue and triage of birds, manatee, snakes, small mammals, and of course, crocodiles! Our expertise and dedication to the conservation of wildlife is recognized by government and communities throughout the country, and their support has helped us save various animals throughout the years.

In the past few years, our research, response to wildlife rescues, and educational outreach program has become nationally recognized, in which we get asked to travel throughout the country to promote wildlife coexistence. As you can imagine, this puts a lot of mileage on our work vehicle, which broke down in November 2023. This significantly reduced our ability to respond to wildlife rescues, and much needed research on crocs in Belize.

As of May 2024, a long-term supporter donated an old work truck to the CRC. However, the truck is in need of new tires, maintenance upgrades, and we need to still cover the cost of transportation from the United States to Belize. The CRC needs $12,000 to help cover all costs with travel, import and maintenance upgrades for our new truck as quickly as possible so we can move forward in responding to wildlife rescues immediately, as well as reconnect with communities throughout Belize in regards to research and education about wildlife coexistence.

Your donation will be directly contributing to the conservation of various endangered wildlife throughout Belize, helping a small non-profit make big strides in conserving wildlife for future generations. So sink your teeth into conservation and donate!

Thank you for all your support!
