Crawling to world record for suicide prevention

Donation protected
on Saturday 27th July, Jay Millard broke the world record for the longest distance leopard crawl in 12 hours achieving a total recorded distance of 5.3km, 5280m on track! Thank you to everyone whom supported and donated. We certainly raised the awareness in suicide prevention. My application is now with GWR and my ulna fracture is making a speedy recovery! Thank you!

Hi, my name is Jay. I am a suicide survivor and veteran of HM Forces. On 27th & 28th July 2024 I am attempting to break a Guinness World Record for the longest leopard crawl for 24hrs. This is a registered application with GWR (Guinness World Records). The 24hr WR is taking place at Costello Stadium in Hull, UK eta 0900am on saturday 27th July 2024. I invite you to support/attend in person or stream 'live' on facebook under 'World Record Crawl'. I am currently raising essential funds for a lifeline app and two incredible charities that require ongoing support. I also have a further aim to highlight to those of us whom struggle in life or feel caved in between four walls, that you are not alone and there is a way out at your own pace, just keep going as pain is often temporary. I have so far completed numerous solo crawls involving 3.2 miles across the Humber Bridge in 3hrs 25 mins, crawled Forth Road Bridge in Scotland on 16th December and crawled all three yorkshire peaks - Whernside, Pen-Y-Ghent, Ingleborough in 2023 and 2024. I have recently successfully crawled Ben Nevis during winter 2024 supported by an amazing team.

All organisations help and support veterans in crisis, as well as providing continual ongoing voluntary support.

Hull 4 Heroes provides a support network in both housing, employment opportunities and operates a veterans drop-in centre based in Hull, United Kingdom. Hull 4 Heroes are looking to build the first transitional veterans village and need your wholesome support in achieving this.

Southampton Veterans Trust has been providing an exemplary service within the veteran community, from providing counselling services, operating a drop-in centre and placing mental health support at the forefront of their agenda.

Crawl4Help is developing a hybrid lifeline platform to save lives throughout the United Kingdom in suicide prevention. End Suicide is a newly formed concept that will reduce risk in high-threat areas whilst providing a lifeline to those whom seek help and support within the United Kingdom.

Please support the movement because no matter how small or large your donation, know that your donation goes toward saving lives together. This is an arduous task, but so is suicide prevention.

Reach out for help if needed, never quit, just keep going. You should never give up on your life and crawl if you must, its what i do and it works for me, it may just work for you too. Wish me luck!

Organisations we'd like to thank, support and raise awareness for: Hull4Heroes, Southampton Veterans Trust, Who Dares Cares, Healthier Heroes, Andys Man Club, Geo Lisa, Geo FC, SemiColon, Honour Bound, Woodys Lodge, Together Stronger, Extreme Outdoors, Helping Homeless Veterans, Unmanned Air Veterans, Elite Guides, Unitas, and more..
