Hi, my name is Marisa Ference and I am trying to raise money for our baby’s kidney treatment. Crank is our 90lb pitbull that my fiancé and I welcomed into our lives the week we started dating. Recently, he became sick with leptospirosis and it caused his kidney, liver, and pancreas to start to fail. He has been on an aggressive treatment since bringing him to the animal hospital 9/20/22 and while all of his other organs are now doing well, his kidneys have made no real progress. The only option we have left, other than the unthinkable, is to put him on hemodialysis to give his kidneys the time they need to improve. I hate having to do this and I am aware we are asking for a ridiculous amount but Crank is our baby, he does not deserve this, and he has so much more life to live. He means the absolute world to us and so we are asking for you to help us save his life. We appreciate whatever you all are able to contribute!
