Our good friend and brilliant photographer, Craig Childs, had his camera bag stolen while doing a photo shoot for "A Safe Place" charity at Fort Fisher around 12:00pm to 12:30pm on Sunday December 1st.  Craig is a loyal father and hard working member of our community.  We are hoping to pull together enough to help him replace the $4,200 worth of equipment that was stolen from him.  Below is a post from Craig about what equipment he lost:

"I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart that have shared my post. For those of you that don’t know what I’m talking about, I got my camera gear stolen this afternoon. I donated 8 photo sessions to "A Safe Place" to help raise money for them. I had my camera bag with me the whole time for the first 7 sessions at Ft. Fisher. Before my last session it started to rain so I went to my car. It cleared up when my last client came, so I left my camera bag in my car for 15min. I came back to my back window slashed and my camera bag stolen along with my sister in laws purse and car keys amongst other things. For those of you who don’t know me, I am a stay at home dad to three beautiful kids. Photography started out as a hobby and passion and turned into a profession. It’s how I make a living. If anyone has any info please let me know or the police.”
