My name is Dani, at least that's what most call me. In 2023, I went through some major health issues, and I'm now paralyzed. One of the results of that paralyzation is I live in a skilled nursing facility. All of my spare money goes to the crafts and activities room it still doesn't feel like enough, as well as all my new purchases. I bought a Cricut Joy so I can make cards for the ladies that live here so they can send cards to people for birthdays, thank yous, housewarmings, and any new grandbabies. I've bought nail polishes for nail time because we do that every week or two as well as have a lady's tea and a gentleman's donut social. But anyway, this fund is to help me find more things I can do for them and for myself—things like buying more flowers (fake ones) so we can create more tea hats for the ladies' tea, or buying cute little crafts for every holiday that comes up so we've all got something to do, and more bingo prizes because we love a lot of bingo here.

And in case you're wondering, I'm 37 years old. Most of my friends here at this facility now are in their 60s, 70s, and sometimes 80s, but I love these girls and I think they should get to have fun and crochet and craft and make cute little things.

I guess in the end I just want more supplies so that the ladies can do anything that they want to do on their free time whether it's more beads and beading supplies for bracelets whether it's puzzles and brain teasers or painting or stickers or making little air clay critters.

I have been here a year and the family members you've chosen to let stay here have become my family and I would genuinely just like to see my family happy. And I can only do so much.
