Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart to share the struggles my family is facing as my father battles complete kidney failure. He has been in the hospital since December 23rd, and we are uncertain how much longer he will be there. This unexpected medical emergency has turned our lives upside down, and my mother, who has been my father's rock for 34 years, is struggling to keep up with the mounting financial and emotional burdens.

My parents have always been there for each other, never once apart, and now my mother is doing everything she can to stay by my father’s side, but the financial strain is becoming overwhelming. My parents live in West Point, while my father is receiving care in Summerside, and My mother has been making daily trips back and forth to be together. As you can imagine, the cost of travel, food, and medications is taking a toll on them. In addition, my father will need to begin dialysis treatments in Charlottetown soon, which will further complicate their situation.

The last thing my family should have to worry about right now is how to pay for essential things like gas, food, medications, and the extra cost of bills. That’s why we are asking for your support during this incredibly difficult time. Your generous donations will help cover travel expenses, daily meals for my father, his medication, and any other costs that arise while he is in the hospital and receiving dialysis treatment.
