Hello! This gofundme is going towards helping me fundraise for my trip to Ecuador in March 2020 with my GMT (Global Medical Training) club at UCLA. By March I need to raise $2,345 in order to have all of my costs covered to attend this trip.

GMT is an international, nonprofit, humanitarian organization with the mission to improve human health worldwide. I will be undergoing training in both critical skills and global health ethics in order to volunteer at medical facilities in poor Latin-American countries. I'm thrilled to be able to directly participate in “hands-on” diagnoses and treatments under the supervision of local medical professionals.

To emphasize more on the costs, the baseline cost for me to apply for this trip is $1,205. When considering airfare, passport costs, scrubs, medical equipment, and meals, the total cost sums to be $2,345. This cost seems daunting at the moment, so I wanted to plan ahead and start this fundraiser in advance.
