Children of Zanzibar Foundation is a charity organization dedicated to helping the poor, needy, and orphans in Zanzibar. The foundation's mission is critical, as approximately 85% of the population in Zanzibar lives in extreme poverty. Most families in the region have between 5 and 9 children, further highlighting the need for support.

A major initiative of the foundation involves raising funds to provide food packs for families. Each food pack costs £30 and includes essential items like flour, rice, sugar, oil, and dates. These basic supplies can make a significant difference for families struggling to meet their daily needs.

Given that the majority of people in Zanzibar are Muslim, the charity aligns with the values of compassion and community support prevalent in the region, aiming to improve the lives of those who are most in need.
