As many of you know our dear pal Jessie is recovering from an incident of abuse from a cis man. 

The initial goal of this fundraiser was to replace damaged property. 

Any funds surpassing the initial goal of replacing damaged property (ie. Her mattress) will be used ethically and transparently as she pursues healing using supports that she will be able to access according to a culturally relevant approach via the 4 spiritual, mental, physical, and community connection components of the medicine wheel that promote wellness and ultimately the pursuit of her own sense of safety and security.

She's hoping to get out of the city for awhile to destress and pursue traditional healing supports while she waits for the results of her abusers upcoming bail hearing.
