Thank you so much to everyone who has donated and shared our GoFundMe this year! Without all of your support we couldn't have put on our regular socials (once a month since March!) throughout 2025, and it's so been so great to meet so many of you at the events and build our CC community.

A MASSIVE thank you to everyone who has donated and shared so far!!! you’re the reason we’ve been able to host our first three events and plan 3 more!! We're now asking for just £225 more from our supporters so we can get ALL our summer socials on the books and meet lots more lovely COVID-safe people!

Our story:

Breathe Easy London is a group of immunocompromised / COVID-conscious Londoners looking to organise monthly events for members of our community to safely socialise.

Governments and the public have decided to abandon infection control and endanger those around them, putting already-marginalised communities at risk of Long COVID, social isolation, and death. We want to create spaces for people to socialise, find community, and have fun without putting themselves or others at risk of damage to their immune, cardiovascular, or nervous systems.

These events would include socialising, arts and crafts, games, music, and more. FFP2/3 masks and proof of a negative test would be required (and provided) at all events, and HEPA air purifiers would be running at all times.

We are specifically welcoming:

Disabled people (4x higher COVID mortality rate)

People of colour (32% long COVID rate)

Women (36% long COVID rate)

Transgender people (48% long COVID rate)

Neurodivergent people (30% long COVID rate)

People with HIV (58% long COVID rate)

or anyone else at increased risk (or those who don't want to spread such a disease to the greater London community).
