Healthcare Heroes T-Shirt Campaign!
When this coronavirus pandemic is all over, let's validate the selfless work of our nation's healthcare heroes with a universal T-shirt that we can wear with confidence. I envision a future (outdoors!) where we can recognize this tee worn by our neighbors, family members, and our healthy elderly.

My name is Matthew Chin and I am currently a first-generation sophomore at Yale University. I am originally from Malden, Massachusetts and I am an advocate for giving back to the communities I have been so fortunate to be a part of.
COVID-19 continues to disrupt the lives of many Americans across the country. It has damaged us economically, kept us bunkered-in emotionally, and most overlooked, overburdened the work of our medical professionals.
Let's step back and imagine ourselves as a member of the healthcare industry during this high-stakes crisis. While the days are filled with chaos and uncertainty, I imagine that seeing fellow Americans proudly wearing a shirt that exclaims, "We support you and acknowledge your work" would be an extraordinarily uplifting sight. The goal of this campaign is to provide donors looking to support COVID-19 relief charities with a unique T-shirt that our neighbors, local shoppers, and our healthy elderly can all parade when social distancing finally comes to an end.
*I pledge that 70% of profits collected by the organization will be donated to COVID-19 relief and used to keep this campaign going.*
With every purchase comes an opportunity to select a COVID-19 relief organization that supporters want their donation sent to; available charities are creditable sources from charitynavigator.org that are providing much-needed medical supplies to our hospitals and health facilities. For now, all of the funds accumulated through this GoFundMe will be used to push out the first bulk shipment of shirts to donors across the domestic United States. If you would like to receive a T-Shirt please purchase on the website. The first shipment will send after we reach our initial goal of $800. In the case that this doesn't happen, all GoFundMe donations will be sent to COVID relief.
When we are finally able to return to our original lifestyles in a few months, I hope that we take some time to remember the struggles of those who have helped save thousands of lives.
Looking Into the Future: Given that this movement finds initial success, I look to expand in a few ways. I hope to create a social media presence where supporters can share their stories and rally with their new T-shirts. My ultimate goal is to grow to where healthcare workers and medical staff have the opportunity to claim a free, specially designed T-shirt distinguishing them as selfless frontline workers during our nation's crisis.
