COVID-19 Relief Fund for Marginalized Areas in PH
Donation protected
Children and families living in Metro Manila's slums are getting hit the hardest by COVID-19. Slum areas already had limited access to clean water, shelter, food, and health care. Due to the ongoing pandemic, basic needs are even more unattainable.
On March 15th, President Duterte declared a month long lock-down. Like in many countries, businesses have closed and daily wage earners have lost their main sources of income. Children and their families cannot be protected without the access to basic human needs. Although we all face the same uncertainty in regards to COVID-19, children in slum areas are ALSO in danger of starvation as well as obtaining other diseases.
We want to help children and their families living in Makati slums in Metro Manila. Our family have gotten to know the children in this area over the past few years. We always keep them in mind for every birthday and other celebrations. Knowing their present circumstances, we can't sit idly by and just do nothing.
What's the goal?
Any donation will make a difference. Whether it be 1$ or 100$, any amount will make an impact for these children. All money raised will directly go towards their families.
Matthew 25:35-40
35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.
