COVID-19 Employee Relief Funds

If the kitchen is the heart of the home, restaurants are the heart of our community. This has been a very difficult week, and probably one of the hardest times we will have to face in our lifetime.  It was not an easy decision to have to lay off all of our employees- to be honest it is utterly heart breaking.  At south+pine and central+main, we really pride ourselves in having created a family, which starts with our staff. In this industry, we spend more time at the restaurant than we do at home- more time with our co-workers than with our own families.  One of the reasons why I love this industry the most is because no matter whose restaurant you are in, you make a built in family, many of whom become life long friends. These people, our family,  are the true backbone of this business and many of them are suffering right now.  The scary part is that we do not know how long this will last.  I am asking that if you have anything available, you donate it to our incredible team to help them through this. I know many people are suffering through this pandemic, but anything would help to put into the pockets of our beloved team whom some of which are living pay check to pay check.  100% of the proceeds will be distributed among our staff.  Thank you in advance for your generosity.  I have been so moved by many of you reaching out to see how you can help or check on us. We hope this ends as quickly as it came, and to have you back in our home as soon as possible.
