  Greg was diagnosed with COVID-19 on December 15, 2020 and days later was placed on a ventilator.  He was transferred to the area's best research hospital on December 23rd to be placed on an ECMO machine.  Greg spent his birthday and Christmas alone in the hospital without the ability to see his family.   He remained in the hospital until he succumbed to this horrible disease on January 19th.  

  Greg contracted COVID-19 and like too many, the virus hit him especially hard.  He fought with everything he had but the damage to his lungs caused by Covid-19 induced pneumonia was just too severe.   This led to complications with just about every organ in his body.  

  He received the best medical care available but the doctors and nurses along with a multitude of medicines and treatments ultimately could not save him.  

  Greg leaves behind his wife, Shannon to raise their two sons, ages 13 and 7, and their 5 year old daughter.  Shannon and her children will find their way through this tragic loss however, it will be hard to fill their emptiness.
