COVID Relief For The Addison's & NH Best Buddies

Nadine & Dave set a goal to run a marathon in 2020 as friends getting into running around the same time. The two signed up to run the Gate City Marathon as the earliest date in NH. When COVID hit things changed a lot more than just personal goals and wellness.
Addison Family COVID Relief
On April 29th Nadine lost a close relative to COVID leaving behind his 2 year old daughter, his 5 month old son, and wife. His wife is now working to raise their children and is still home on maternity leave without an immediate income to assist them.
Martin was a true family man. He was a doting "papa" to his 2 year old daughter and his 5 month old son. He loved sports (Liverpool Football Club/Broncos/Mets/ UCONN Huskies), Star Wars, acronyms, James Bond, and music. Martin was passionate about his patients and his work as a speech/language pathologist at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center.
Best Buddies of NH
For those that know Dave they most likely know how much his brother Dylan has impacted his life. Dylan has down syndrome and has been struggling to grasp the complexities behind our current day to day challenges. If you know Dylan you know how important a hug can be, you will see him talk to everyone in a store or venue like he knows them and walk away as friends. Dylan hasn't been able to see his friends, he hasn't been allowed to hug his brother, and he can't go to the dance's, musicals, or even his job that he was proud to get after getting out of high school working for Dartmouth.
Many great resources for advancing the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities have been stopped for the time being, like many aspects of our lives, to help contain this spread. This has taken a toll on Dylan along with many others in the community. Organizations like Best Buddies NH have been instrumental in providing socialization and camaraderie virtually for this community through online Zumba, Dance parties, and trivia. They also work to help employment placement for the community which is even more difficult in a time where so many have lost theirs as well.
Nadine & Dave want to use their training and intentions to support those affected in their families and communities.
All money donated will be evenly divided 50/50 between the two causes:

- Best Buddies of NH.
We understand that these are difficult times and everyone is affected in some way or another. If you have any ability to support no amount is too small and is greatly appreciated by both the Addison family and Best Buddies.
