COVID Relief Community Food Share Project

Tax deductible
This Giving Tuesday, support access to fresh food for the neighbors of West Philadelphia through Urban Tree Connection’s COVID Community Food Share Project. In the midst of this current global pandemic, UTC’s role is to not only provide access to fresh food but to uplift community leadership and enable alternative ways that we can collectively care for each other during this crisis.

We are asking your help to raise $5000 between May 5th – June 5th which will allow us to distribute 250 Free Share bags to families in Haddington. Your donation will not only directly support food distribution
to your neighbors but it also allows for the training of veteran community volunteers to grow food at the farm and gardens. Through this, we are working towards our goal of neighborhood rooted food and land systems through community leadership development and
land-based strategies.

Although times have been hard, it’s reminded us that we are not in this alone. We are calling
upon our community supporters and allies who are committed to fighting food inequality!

• Every $20 donation will provide a family with a Food Share with 5-7 produce from NF
Farm

• $100 gift will provide 5 families with Food Shares OR a family with a month of Food
Shares

• A monthly gift of $20 = a Free Food share for a family

There is no gift too large or small. Every dollar contributes to us showing up with and for
families in Haddington. Together, we know that we can exceed this goal!
