Hello all, my name is Aarav Sadnoor, and I am third grader currently practicing distance learning because of the current situation.
"Uplift our community fund" is an effort to raise money for all those who have been affected by the COVID-19 lock down. In this time of social distancing, there are a lot of parents who are not able to bring food on the table because they depend on their jobs that pays on hourly or daily basis. School closing also means that a lot of children who rely on school meals struggle with hunger. Also not to forget the sick and the homeless.
How can we help : We need to make sure that the non-profits who serve our community have enough money/grocery to provide food to meet the rising demand. So I am asking you to join me to support those who are in need around us in this dire moment.

The River Food Pantry
Shelter by the Storm
Food for thought initiative
And Individual families that need help
