Covering fuel costs - Jason the wonder rescurer

This fundraiser is designed to go some way towards covering the costs of kangaroo rescues on the Surf Coast. Jason Cichoki undertakes the vast majority of these.
This represents a significant impost of time and money. Jason pays for the fuel costs out of his own money. Rescues also take him away from his business so there is an added financial burden in that sense.
I have set the funding target at 11648 for a reason. This is the number of members on the Surf Coast Community Facebook page. If each of us donated $1 we would hit that target.
This may seem a large amount but it is a drop in the ocean compared to the amount of money Jason has already given to what is essentially a community service.
As a community we can do very little about the emotional impact doing this work has on an animal lover like Jason.
What we can do is stand shoulder to shoulder with Jason and share, as a community, the monetary burden that comes with imposing ourselves on the landscape and the amazing wildlife that lives here.
