My name is George Hogan and I'm a year 10 student at Horsforth School.

We've been offered a lifetime opportunity to experience living off-grid in Borneo. I will be undertaking rural community projects which will help to create long term sustainable change to protect the local environment and the habitats of the Orangutan population. The projects include; Building classrooms for the local community, constructing and refurbishing buildings, installing water storage systems, giving English language lessons and growing and re-planting native trees to reforest the local area.

I'm raising funds to help cover the costs for this month long voluntary experience in Borneo. Any help with my travel and living costs would be extremely appreciated!
