Cover Gilbert's Living Expenses while he is Ill

My sister and I are raising money to help our father cover his living expenses while he is too ill to work. Our father, Gilbert, has been hospitalized for the past 10 days due to a severe case of Liver Disease. This disease has infected his blood stream and spread to his Kidneys, causing him to be in critical care. Any measures the medical teams make at this point are only life-sustaining, and he is not predicted to make a full recovery. The medical team is working to get him discharged from the hospital and placed into home healthcare services, however even once he returns home he will be unable to work or carry on life as he has previously. As he doesn't have substantial savings, he is concerned about being able to cover his immediate living expenses during this period of medical hardship. We are asking for any help you can provide to help ease his financial stress during this delicate time. Any funds raised will go directly towards his rent, utilities, bills, & food.
