Cousins cycle challenge.

On July 4th 2026 Jack, Bradley and I will be cycling 50miles to raise money and awareness for Lymphoma (Lymphoma Action) in memory of our lovely Grandad.

The man who gave everything to his family.

Lymphoma Action provides free emotional support and information to people affected by lymphatic cancer (Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphomas) - the 5th most common cancer diagnosed in the UK.

Last August Grandad became unwell but being the strong man that he was he carried on as best he could, not making a fuss or worrying his family.

Late October he had a couple of falls at home this lead him to be admitted to hospital for some tests and monitoring.

Friday 7th November we recieved news we had all feared. Grandad was suffering from aggressive Lymphoma. We were initially told we had a few months together. Further tests and results came back to clarify it was everywhere in his body and more aggressive than they first thought.

We got a very emotional 10days with him.

Time we are so grateful for, time spent reminiscing, time to thank him, time to laugh, smile and cry together. Time to promise to look after eachother. We were so lucky to have such a kind, generous, loyal and loving Grandad.

There until the very end holding your hand.

Our hearts have never been broken until now.
