Courtside Fellowship Area (Drew Baker Eagle Project)

My name is Drew Baker, and I am raising funds for my Eagle Scout Service Project. The goal of my project is to improve and expand the sitting and viewing area next to the sand volleyball court outside the youth building of Dallas Bible Church. The area is currently poorly sloped towards the walI and has broken benches. I will be constructing an elevated crushed granite base with a wooden retaining wall for new, longer lasting furniture to be permanently set into. My project will help Dallas Bible Church, specifically the members of the youth group, as it will transform the area surrounding the volleyball court into a more suitable area for youth to spend time outside and with friends during youth events and throughout the week. This will be especially important in the coming spring and summer months as kids are far more eager to spend time outside.
